goLITE BLU Product Launch

In the fall of 2008, Brunner authored and executed a blogger outreach program in support of the goLITE BLU launch, a new light therapy product. We primarily targeted highly trafficked, tech/gear guy blogs that feature and review new, cool technologies and gadgets. Prominent health and wellness blogs were a secondary objective. Our efforts secured well-placed, early product reviews on Gizmodo, BoingBoing, Medgadget, Gadling, Y Buzz, TechLIFE and Totally Obcure. These reviews directly created $30,000 in referral sales and helped goLITE BLU become the top revenue generating product in the Respironics online catalog for the fourth quarter of 2008. Moreover, blog reviews helped secure two new retailers. Frontgate requested BLU after reading a review in MarieClaire.com and Harrington’s submitted an order for BLU as a result of a review on Boston.com.
