Brunner Names Rose Lied Senior Vice President Group Strategy Director

Brunner chief strategy officer, Louis Sawyer, announced the promotion of Rose Lied to senior vice president, group strategy director. In her new role, she will be responsible for various consumer packaged goods, retail, restaurants, and healthcare accounts between Brunner's Pittsburgh and Atlanta offices. Lied, who joined Brunner in 2000, previously served as the agency's vice president, group strategy director.

"Rose's knowledge and experience in the food and consumer packaged goods categories, among others, is a key asset for Brunner," said Sawyer. "Not only has she spearheaded the tremendous success of our strategy discipline, but she has contributed significantly to the general success of the agency. Rose has earned a title that better reflects her role in the agency." Prior to Lied's promotion, she was responsible for identifying and analyzing insights for new product development, product positioning, branding, and marketing communications plan development for a variety of high-profile packaged goods and retail clients that include Knouse Foods, Bob Evans Farms, Inc., LaRosa's Pizzeria, Zippo, CONSOL Energy, and Rockford Health System.

Prior to joining Brunner, Lied began her career on the client side working as a brand manager for Bounce Fabric Softener and Top Job Cleaner at Procter & Gamble and a category manager in the Refrigerated Products Division at Kraft Foods. Lied is credited with reversing a 13-year sales decline for Top Job Cleaner and reversing multi-year declines on two key Kraft brands for Velveeta and Cheez Whiz. She also held strategy positions at Ketchum.
