JOB TITLE
Strategist
JOB DESCRIPTION

This is what we will ask you to do:

  • To develop and drive business, brand, message and communications strategies for our clients’ businesses. 
  • Stewardship of measurement plans, tracking and strategic analysis of programs that have been implemented to inform future brand growth.

We ask that you minimally have:

  • A minimum of 5 years of marketing experience with a minimum of 2 years working specifically to address branding, repositioning, and communications challenges. 
  • Strong understanding of research methodologies (experience recommending, reading and interpreting data)
  • Application of classic branding models and experience repositioning brands (brand positioning frameworks, brand architecture, co-branding, writing of brand briefs, etc.)
  • Experience identifying and recommending new target audience approaches or segments, as well as helping to identify unexpected insights that can lead to greater resonance
  • Ability to lead dialogue on a brand and engage internal and client stakeholders—should be able to build arguments grounded in learning that allow stakeholders to understand how strategies were arrived at and buy-in to recommended approaches
  • Diversity of experience across multiple categories (ex. retail, packaged goods, industrial, etc.) and across multiple audiences (ex. Moms, Boomers, Tweens, B-B audiences, etc.)
