Digital Designer
JOB DESCRIPTION

We are currently seeking a Digital Designer to join and work collaboratively with our Creative team in developing art concepts for the production of Web sites.

Position Requirements/Responsibilities:

  • Understands overall how a Web site comes together and understands the challenging and ever-changing Internet.
  • Has a basic understanding of HTML programming as it relates to design.
  • Designs Web sites according to strategic plans provided by the Creative Director and Account Manager.
  • Works with other Digital Designers, Art Directors, Copywriters and designated “team” personnel in production of creative materials.
  • Helps establish and maintain quality and award-winning work that goes beyond design and cuts through to brand image and identity.
  • Strives to meet assigned deadlines.  Alerts Creative Director if deadlines cannot be met for any reason, or if an extension is required.
  • Works with Production Artists, providing complete input and any instruction and supervision required to smoothly complete production of approved design.  Provides all required specifications.
  • Reviews all production materials on assigned projects and signs off prior to forwarding jobs for approval.
  • Meets with Account Managers, as required, to ensure timely and accurate completion of assigned projects.
  • Has working knowledge of computer design software and hardware and strives to stay current in level of knowledge and abilities.
  • Entry-level to two (2) years experience in an interactive design or art direction capacity
